John 3:16; for God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. God loved us and Jesus died for us so that we, who before were lost in sin and wickedness, might live a holy life, and the fruit of our lives must be righteousness. We know that the Christian life is not easy, no responsible person ever said it was. It is a battle all the way but it is a battle that will be won. And when it is won, we who have triumphed will cast our crowns at the feet of the Lord Jesus Christ who worked in us to accomplish the victory, and we will praise Him forever.
We believe... We believe the Bible to be the Word of God, and its message of salvation to be the only true message of salvation, giving us truth, meaning, purpose and hope. 2 Timothy 3:16; all scripture is God breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness. We believe in coming humbly before God with confession and repentance of sin. 1 John 1:9; if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. We believe in Faith: trusting not in ourselves, but in salvation though the Lord Christ Jesus. Hebrews 11:6; and without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him. We believe in acknowledging Jesus Christ as sovereign Lord, and through the grace of God we must serve Him with all that is in us, putting to death our sinful nature, and leading a godly life. 1 John 5:1; everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the Father loves His child as well. Romans 8:1-4; there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of Life set me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the sinful nature, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful man to be a sin offering. We believe the Holy Spirit is a gift and abides, surrounds, changes, renews, strengthens and protects us, empowering us to press on throughout each day. Acts 2:38; repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Romans 8:26-27; in the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness, we do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God's will. We believe in unity and joy of uniqueness within the family of God. John 13:34-35; "a new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. by this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." We believe in continued growth. Colossians 1:9-14; for this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of His will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. And we pray this in order so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please Him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God. Being strengthened with all power according to His glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son He loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. We believe in the power of prayer, and that we can never pray too much if we do so with an honest and sincere heart. Also the pattern for prayer that has been given to us by Jesus, we should praise God, pray for His work here in this world, pray for our daily needs, and pray for help in our daily struggles. Matthew 6:9-13;" this is then how you should pray- Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. AMEN "
In conclusion... Colossians 3:12-17; Therefore as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, cloth yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another grievances you may have against one another, forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace, and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. |
